Heartwood will offer Summer Camp 2010 to current and enrolled students ages 3 - 15. Heartwood's Summer Camp will extend the philosophy of self-direction as a goal for all children.

Registration for Summer Camp:

• You need to complete a registration form for each camper, available in the office or hallway bulletin board.
• Bring the registration form to Jude or Sue in the office.
• We will keep a running list of campers on the hallway bulletin board.

Weekly Camp Rates 2010:

Full Day 9 - 3pm	Half Day 9 - 12	Drop-In rate
$225 per week	$165 per week	$10/hour

Early and late care available from 8am until 5pm at $5hr.

Dates for 2010 Summer Camps:

• June  7   Garden Fun for Everyon
•                How does your garden grow?  Garden journals, "taste testing", scavenger hunts, wildflower collecting, taking "your own plant" home, and many differenct ways to enjoy your garden.
• June 14  Silly Science
•                We will have experiments from flubber, or to see what happens when you mix dish soap, milk and oil.  Each and every day will bring something different and exciting.  Science is FUN.

• June 21  Space is the Place
•                Learn about space, and what is really out there.  We will create space ships, and even go on a treasure hunt for moon rocks.  This week is Out of this WORLD!
• June 28  Party in the USA
•                Why do we celebrate the fourth of July?  There will be many patriotic activities, as well as red, white, and blue tie dye t-shirts to show our spirit.  We'll also have homemade ice cream.

• July 12   Ocean/Sea Life

                          What is really in the sea?  Why is the water salty?  How big is that shark?  All your questions answered!  Exploring the deep blue and all of it's life.

• July 19   Bugs, Slugs & Spiders

•                Explore the world of insects and arachnids.  Make your own bugs and soft spiders.  Catch and examine them, then set them free.  Learn to love bugs.

• July 26   Wacky Water Week
•                This week is all about water and getting wet. Water races, water games, and water fun. So bring your bathing suits and towels, and prepare to get wet. We will even wash the BUS!
