The Writer's Workshop is a comprehensive approach to teaching students writing skills.  The workshop builds fluency in writing in fiction genres, aiding nonfiction writing, and inspired poetry.

This club is available on Mondays and Tuesdays for different age groups.  Heartwood's personal master gardener, Mary Collins, was the inspiration for this club (and our gardens at HW).

Calling all SCIENTISTS!  Second Mission- Circuits, Electronics & Batteries

Would you like to be a scientist?  We will be exploring, investigating, and coming up with conclusions to explain how circuits, electronics & batteries work. Join us on Friday afternoons at 3:15 for one hour of FUN!! We will meet for three weeks starting October 21st, 28th & November 4th.  For ages 7 years old and up.  The price is $30 for the Second mission. Payment directly to Tammy Smith (checks can be left in the Heartwood office--It can not be billed through your school account).
